About Rahul
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science graduate with experience in various social and corporate working environments. Great interest in news, sports, entertainment and pop culture over my life has helped me with my own English vocabulary - something that I am happy to convey to young students just learning about the world. Practical reading skills that include occasional breaks to look at the history, etymology and other uses of keywords in a book, article, passage, etc.
Complete reading sessions with pre-assigned and "on-the-spot" material. Questions interspersed throughout the session to promote interactivity.
I bring a varied educational and work history to the tutoring assignment, experience that allows me to relate to a wide subject matter to better relate to new students.
My aim is to build reading confidence in students, especially those from immigrant and visible minority backgrounds.
