About Stephen
My teaching style is mainly informed by my studies and then Research in a highly innovative interdisciplinary research unit at Imperial College - during which I earned a PhD in Bio-mechanical Engineering. I then switched to teaching and spent a further twenty years teaching Physics in schools with many students carrying on to study engineering and science at Russell Group universities each year

I try and provide an understanding of the underlying concepts reinforced through problem solving to build a comprehensive knowledge of the subject. Resources including animations and sites that show practical demonstrations are used extensively to provide a visual understanding of the ideas that dominate each topic.
