About Sunday
I teach a broad range of subject area such as chemistry for chemical engineer, engineering thermodynamics, mass transfer operation, heat transfer, mechanical principles, fluid mechanics and engineering mathematics. A lot of my experience has been directed to the delivery of specific disciplines in chemical and mechanical engineering at Redcar and Cleveland College.

I prefer to make classes as interactive as possible so that I can draw on student experience and I am always keen to learn of students' interests early in any course so the cases and examples used can be tailored to the particular class. I strongly believe that teaching should be practical and linked to real world situations. By doing so, students will be mentally prepared for the challenges they might face in the future. My teaching style combines innovation, enthusiasm, and critical analysis. I actively seek out up-to-date materials, in-class simulations, and thought-provoking activities that challenge students’ thinking with the intent of making the class period engaging and memorable. I believe if I adhere to my teaching goals of facilitating the ability to think, read, write, and speak critically and I am flexible and relatable as an instructor, I believe that I can create a challenging, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for students each session.
