About Sophie
I am a second year engineering student at Durham university. I am passionate about my subject and am looking to be a tutor so that I might be able to help others enjoy learning also. Having taken my A Levels in 2019, I have recent experience of taking national exams and of the syllabuses.
Last year I weekly went to a local school to help underprivileged year 10 students with their maths homework. I also have experience with online teaching as for two years I volunteered to mento young children in Kenya via Skype.

I believe that if a student enjoys learning.revising, they will do better at their subject. Therefore my approach is to understand how best my student works (whether that be through memory songs, games or flashcards) and then use that activity to teach.
