About Finlay
In year 8, I was diagnosed with CFS. As a result of this, I was only able to attend 2 hours a day of lessons throughout my GCSE's. This forced me to teach myself all the content I missed and in the process, learn how to learn.
I have now been tutoring for over a year alongside my A level Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. Through applying the techniques I learnt during my GCSE's, I have been able to help students build confidence in their abilities and excel at topics where they previously struggled.

Before your first lesson, join me for a free consultation where we'll discuss where you're at, where you'd like to be, and how you'll get there. I'll ask some questions about your learning style, exam board, and where you're at with your course, allowing me to tailor our lessons to your needs.
During your lesson, we'll start by going through the basic concepts. We'll do some simple questions to start with, then move onto a question or two in the style you'd see in an exam. If applicable, these questions will tie into topics we have covered previously.
After your lesson, I'll send you a lesson recap. This will include the key points of the lesson, counter-intuitive things to watch out for, and a few practise questions. These will help put what we have learnt into your long term memory!
