About Julie
Hello! I'm currently doing a Master of Science at Polytechnique Montréal, and I'm coming from a French engineering school. I offer Mathematics and Physics-Chemistry courses for all high school classes, as well as for the first preparatory year after high school. My rigorous and demanding background has enabled me to develop a very good scientific sense. I find it satisfying to explain the “why,” where things come from, how it makes sense, rather than just teaching a lot of formulas. I've been a private tutor for many years and I've always had great feedback from my students! I really enjoy seeing you improve! I can adapt to your level and follow your progress throughout the year. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information!

Being an engineering student myself, I know what the challenges are to learn scientific subjects.
I like to insert real-life and practical examples that students can relate to into the lessons, because what I like so much about sciences is that they teach us how the world works.
I usually follow what the student is doing in class, trying to stick to the teachers' methodologies so not to confuse the student, but there are always different ways of looking at things if I feel like another way might help
Same lessons and small exercices to apply the course as what was done in class, but I will always bring new exercices to practice and improve rather than just remembering the correction seen in class.
I have been a tutor for the past 3 years regularly, helping people prepare the French Engineering School Exams, as well as high school students wanting to graduate

Perfect! Very diligent and responsive tutor, has made herself available promptly. Proving to be quite good at explaining undergrad-level physics course, which has been very helpful for us. Strongly recommend.
Perfect! Julie est excellente. Ma fille de 16 ans l’adore. Elle demande à l’avance les cours sur lesquels elle doit travailler. Elle explique super bien! Je la recommande à 100%.
