I am currently in my first year of studying Engineering at the University of Manchester and I intend to go on to do a masters. I am an incredibly hard working and friendly individual, who enjoys working with other people. Personally, I feel a reward based system, works very well. Setting worked to be completed with a reward on completion provides motivation (rewards being for example stickers, games, snacks). Completing questions over and over again can be very useful as well as using physical examples. I aim to not only provide materials but make sure people actually understanf the content.
My mum has been a primary school teacher for around 20 years, so helping her out with many of her classes and lessons is something that I've spent quite some time doing over the past few years.
I have also volunteered for local maths and science fairs, helping out with activities and making sure all of the children were comfortable in what they were doing. During sixth form I provided informal mentoring to peers.

Charis helped me with A Level maths last year. She was patient and took the time to make sure I understood everything she was helping me with before progressing.
