About Danielle
Hello! My name is Danielle and I am an English, French, and writing teacher who would love to work with you! I am American, born in Denver, raised in Ohio, and I've lived all over the US (New York City, Washington DC, California, etc!). I've been an English and French professor for over twelve years, and I've taught at several universities and language schools all over the US. I've been giving private tutoring lessons to students in English, French, and writing for over twelve years, and I have an immense passion for teaching! I am also the author of twelve published novels, all written in English and taking place in France. I absolutely love teaching writing as well! I hold a Bachelor's degree in French from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, with one semester of study at l’Université Lumière Lyon II and Lyon III. I hold a Master's degree in French Language and Civilization from New York University in Paris, with coursework taken at la Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III. I moved back to Lyon 8 months ago, and I would love to meet you! I also do courses over Skype if you live further away! Thanks so much and I hope to see you soon!

I adapt all of my tutoring sessions to the needs to my students. So if you want to learn how to speak English, we will speak, speak, speak! If for example, you need to learn specific vocabulary for your work, I will help you with that. I will create a course that fits your individual needs and we'll have fun at the same time!
