About George
I want to teach as I know how tough it is to juggle all your GCSE and A Level subjects. Sometimes, some can be neglected (even the ones you are most passionate about!), so I am here to do some of the legwork for you.
Similarly, it can be really tough to write that first excellent essay, I want to help you get that first one under your belt so you can flourish and fulfil your potential.
Having studied English and History (and Film at MA level), I am well versed in what makes the perfect essay, and what you can do to improve your writing.

About the lesson

- I place emphasis on perfecting essay technique and then working around this. Once you get this right the rest (quotations, context, criticism etc.) can be fun and easy to learn ready for the exam!
- Lessons are 1-2hrs.
- I have recently graduated from university and have a clear memory of GCSEs and A Levels. Through this I can share my expertise of the courses, and having written essays at a high university level, I am well placed to help anyone!
