About Barbara
I have been a teacher for 6 years and I can definitely say it is my passion. I started giving lessons to Brazilian students who wanted to know or perfect their English. I work with children, teens, but mostly with adults, specially businessmen. I have been working at an Electric Engeneering Company in Brazil, which welcomes people from all over the world, specially China. After a while, the Chinese who started living in Brazil, wanted to have lessons and learn Portuguese, so I started giving Portuguese lessons as well as English. I found it to be my passion and I’m very committed and engaged with each student's needs.

Since I teach mostly individual classes, I try to focus on what's the student's main goal and produce materials and class plans to help achieve those goals. I like to use videos, songs and games in my classes to make it more dynamic. As well as the news for vocabulary and grammar.
