About Guigui
I have a Ph.D degree in English, specialized in American Culture & Society. I have taught related courses in a university in China for more than 20 years. During the last few years, I also worked as a fellow researcher at American Studies of Yale University, and a lecturer at an immigration history initiative. Students love my lively teaching style and the fulfilling deep discussions on various fascinating topics, especially appreciating that I can always offer timely help with their English when they try to express their brilliant ideas.

For each lesson, depending on your English level and interest, I select English articles from books or newspapers, prepare you with questions and encourage your input in discussions. The goal is to enhance your critical thinking, your understanding of American society/ your surroundings if you live in America, and
ultimately, your efficient and meaningful engagement /communication with people, either colleagues or friends.
