About Amirah
Hello! I have been an Ontario Certified Teacher for 8 years and I have also been tutoring for the last 16 years. I graduated with a specialist in French from UofT and a minor in biology. I did my Teacher's College at OISE, which is affiliated with UofT.
I have tutored over 200 students in English, French (including extended French with science in French), math and science in grades 1-9. I've helped students go from D's to straight A's throughout the years.

I absolutely ADORE teaching because I love being a mentor to my students. I have many recommendations from parents who have said that I have changed their child's life because not only did I help improve grades, I also helped change their mentality towards school. I always try to connect with my students to build their confidence and get them to love learning.
I offer in-person tutoring in south Mississauga and Oakville, as well as online tutoring.
Rates vary from $70-80/hour (in-person) and $60-70 (online), depending on grades and how many hours/week.
