About Lilly
Hello! My name is Lilly. I am a 17-year-old high school senior, with over 9 years of experience reading, writing, and editing essays, poems, and many more types of English expression. I have had several of my essays published and been a winner of the National Poetry Contest twice. I also work part-time as a librarian, and I feel very strongly that everyone is capable of reading and writing well.

My approach as a tutor begins mostly with asking the student what they are having trouble with and having them explain it to me. Once we have identified the problem together, we break it down into manageable pieces and fix it! I aim to really get to know my students and what they enjoy, linking lessons and examples to those things.
