About Emma
Queens university student for history and math. I've been a tutor for over 4 years in my community and am now branching out into online tutoring as well. I've worked with students ranging from ages 4-25 in history, math, english, science etc. I make sure to actually talk with my students and find out what it is they're struggling with whether its comprehension, practice, combining ideas etc and tailoring my lesson to fit their specific needs as opposed to just teaching the same lesson over and over.

I ensure that I tailor my lessons to the needs of each student, making sure that I'm always going at the right pace and using tools that will ensure the best and most successful results. This means taking whatever it is my student is struggling with and finding ways to connect them to what they are already able to do, meaning I'll take difficult concepts back to the basics and work my way forward so that any confusion can be cleared up immediately.
