About Yogita
I'm a BA English Hons student at Banaras Hindu University and an Abacus alumna. I have completed Abacus levels 1-8 and Grand level 1-2, and I am a State Level Championship Winner.
Sharing my knowledge and skills of Abacus and Mental Math with others is a way for me to stay connected with something that brought me true joy and was one of the best parts of my childhood. Through teaching, I hope to share that same joy with my students.

1. Step-by-step learning: Lessons begin from absolute basics, starting from small add/subtract calculations and as the class progresses, the student learns multiplication, division and decimals as the number of digits keep on increasing.
2. Abacus & Mental Math: Students learn to perform calculations mentally, just as they learn to do on the Abacus. With progressing levels, speed and accuracy of their calculations improve while learning to work with increasingly large numbers.
3. Levels covered: Abacus levels 1-8
4. Activities & Practice: Each class begins with exercises like speed writing, dictation and flashcards followed by calculation practice using worksheets.
5. Personalized practice materials: I prepare exercises tailored to each student's need, focusing on areas they find challenging. 6. Class format: Personalized one-on-one online classes & home tuitions in Varanasi.
