About Anna
I'm Anna and I love all things language! I really enjoyed English literature and language at GCSE, alongside English language at A-level, and now English Language & Linguistics at University. In school I was told by friends that I often explained things better to them than our teachers did, managing to explain topics in a way they actually understood. This got me thinking about a career in teaching, but one where I would really focus on individuals, their specific strengths, weaknesses and needs, and the unique way their brain's understands and learns things. My aim is to share my love of English in an enjoyable and uniquely tailored way to students to help them boost their confidence in English subjects.

Tailored lesson plans specific to an individual's needs, strengths and targets. I aim to make my lessons as fun and as engaging as possible, particularly for drier subject areas such as essays. I like to build a trusting relationship with students to ensure a comfortable working environment and encourage maximum learning and target-hitting! Lessons range from 45mins-1hr long.
Past experience tutoring GCSE student and KS3 students. Confident teaching KS2/3, GCSE and A-level students.
