About Hali
I am a recent History graduate looking to tutor students who may be struggling with English, History and Politics. I like to take creative approaches to learning and teach students course content as well as effective revision skills, which are vital for mastering exams.
I have experience teaching students with Aspergers as well as mental health problems such as anxiety. I teach patiently and want my tutees to feel as comfortable as possible.
I understand the immense pressure of the 11+, GCSEs and A-Level exams, having been through them myself, and really want the students I teach to master the content and their ability to recall said content. I have used creative methods such as making songs or mind maps in order to memorise and understand content, which has been well received.
I am comfortable teaching at a primary and secondary level, all the way up to A Level.
