About Virginia
I am a billingual postgrad student in York majoring in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I did my undergraduate degree in Germany (English and Physical Education) and have successfully completed a TEFL certificate. In highschool I always enjoyed tutoring younger students and thus been determined to make it my full time career. Last year I worked in Vietnam as an English teacher before returning to Germany to take a position as a lecturer for the German Customs.

I don't have one main teaching methodology but prefer to cater to the needs of my students and use a variety of approaches and materials. What works with one student, might not work for another. I do like to put the focus on task-based and communication orientated activites, as these will help immensely in achieving fluency and vocabulary building.
