Hector is a terrific bass player. I have recorded with him on multiple occasions, and his understanding of harmony and rhythm is unmatched. I have no doubt he instills in his students a lifelong love of the bass.

I've known Hector for about 30 years now. We shared the stage various times with our own respective bands at that time. He is very passionate about music in general, he is an advanced and proficient musician in many instruments and excels at bass guitar. Also, he is a very down to Earth, polite, and respectful human being. He also has a vast knowledge in various musical genres and styles which make that versatility a game changer at teaching. I totally recommend Hector for an amazing experience at becoming the bass player you want to be!

Hector is an outstanding Spanish tutor — patient, engaging, and truly gifted at teaching.
I can't recommend Hector enough. His native language is Spanish, and he's completely bilingual, bringing a natural, easygoing teaching style that makes learning Spanish feel approachable rather than intimidating. There's real value in learning from someone with excellent, native-level pronunciation — it makes a huge difference in how naturally you pick up the sounds and rhythm of the language, and Hector models that beautifully in every lesson. He also has a real gift for explaining grammar clearly, and he adapts his lessons to how each student learns best — whether that's through conversation practice, structured lessons, or just working through real-life scenarios.
What stands out most is his patience and genuine enthusiasm for teaching. He doesn't just teach vocabulary — he takes the time to make sure concepts truly click, which makes the lessons more effective and memorable. He's reliable, punctual, and easy to communicate with, and he genuinely wants his students to succeed.
If you're looking for a tutor who is knowledgeable, warm, and effective, Hector is an excellent choice. I'm confident anyone who works with him will see real progress.
