About Deepa
As a daughter of educators, teaching is in my blood! I started off with the Teach For Malaysia Fellowship Programme where I received 2 months' intensive training that included close observation of my classroom teaching practice. I love teaching and working closely with students of all ages, and I especially love seeing them grow more confident with their abilities as they work with me.

All my students start with a short assessment to get a sense of your level and your goals. After that, I prepare a study plan for you to get you to your goal. My lessons are interactive; incorporating activities, questions and answers and games. I typically do 1 hour lessons but would also recommend 45 minutes for younger learners. I have 4 years' experience as an online tutor and one and a half years' experience as a school teacher in Malaysia teaching English as a Second Language to secondary school students. As an online tutor, I have successfully guided students to achieve their goals and improve their understanding of test formats and expectations.
