About Alexandra
I am an English Literature graduate starting a Master's in the same field at Durham University. While this is my first experience tutoring, I have experience tutoring secondary school students as part of my volunteering activities required for the International Baccalaureate - including English Literature and Spanish. I also have extensive experience working in the publishing industry, which has allowed me to elevate my written, analytical, and organisational skills - something I am keen to apply to tutoring in order to assist other students in their studies.

My teaching method involves discussing with the student / parent prior what concerns or areas of interest they are looking to cover. Then I develop a lesson plan, drawing on the assessment criteria of exam boards as well as my own personal advice as a university graduate.
