About Matthew
I am new to tutoring, though have studied English to a Higher Education level, achieving a 2:1. Despite my inexperience I have a very clear view on how I would like to teach my students. Intially, an action plan will be put into place to consolidate strengths and work on any ongoing issues. This will be ideal for anyone looking to move up a grade or ensuring they achieve their full potential. My profession in management relied heavily on communication, training and mentoring staff members and I believe this skill set to be transferable to the tutoring role and look forward to the challenge.

I am an English Literature graduate offering guidance and teaching to GCSE and A-Level students looking to improve exam technique, essay and grammatical structure. Topics include Literaure, Modern Literature, Victorian Literature and poetry. The lessons will be interactive and lead on a 80:20 student tutor split with the use of online and hard copy sources.
