About Daniel
Hi,
I'm an English Literature graduate and English as a Second Language teacher who has been teaching students from all over the world for the last few years.
Literature can be tricky, but doesn't need to be. The great thing is that if you can back it up, you can say basically anything! Think Shakespeare would have loved Jay-Z because of Othello? Or Wuthering Heights set today would mostly be sad memes on Instagram? Sure thing, this isn't maths! We can say what we like if we back it up!
I graduated in with a 2:1 in English Literature from the University of Liverpool in 2017 and completed my TESOL certificate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam shortly after. After that I spent a year teaching in public schools across the city, before doing the same for another year in two universities in Tokyo, Japan. With a brief stop for some intensive courses in Austria I started teaching online from Argentina at the start of 2020.
In all that time I've helped students pass numerous exams, job interviews, raise their conversation skills, boost confidence and help students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Outside of teaching I am an avid traveller and my dream is to visit all 7 continents. I also play guitar, hike and swim as often as I can!
