About Iman
I am currently a primary school teaching assistant with a degree in English literature. I have tutored children up the ages of 11 in particular for many years and have a strong passion for children, learning and helping others academically. Teaching children is something I have wanted to do from a very young age. I see tutoring children as being beneficial to me as I find discovering different methods and approaches to learning as something crucial to teaching .

The teaching methodologies I would use vary depending on the child I am working with and their ability. I appreciate that each child is different and whilst some are more visual learners others may thrive more through more verbal teaching. I often try to help children create their own resources to aid them in their own learning. I also believe some of the best learning is through enjoyment and think that it is important that children partake in tasks that challenge them but simultaneously are enjoyable.
