About Josie
I am a student at Durham University studying English literature who has several years of experience in academic tutoring, teaching students of all ages and abilities in both English literature and language through online lessons. I have experience teaching AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC.

Each lesson will be tailored to the student's particular needs and ability, but I like to ensure that each student has a goal for the end of the lesson. A typical lesson could include setting out achievable goals and then working through a past paper by dissecting the question and concentrating on how to structure the answer, as well as building on the skills required for the question through separate activities (this would be more relaxed depending on the student's aims and ability). However, if the students wants to improve on their knowledge of the specification content, we will complete mindmaps, quizzes and smaller questions to consolidate their understanding.
