About Carina
For over two years I have been teaching English literature to both native speakers and those for whom English is a foreign language. I have worked on different texts such as An Inspector Calls, Death of a Salesman, Macbeth, The Crucible, Of Mice and Men, Raisin in the Sun and man more.

My teaching method is a method that puts the learner first. Focusing on the learner's goals, areas for improvement, preferred learning method and environment creates the perfect framework for continued growth and measurable success. For literature, deepening the specificities of books from new perspectives and learning to develop critical thinking and analysis, understanding the importance of writer's effects and literary devices will be part of the program. Besides these facts, my lessons are never complete without meaningful conversations, good humor, and genuine mutual knowledge. Using a combination of any material you want to work with and my custom made material, we will understand the concepts you are working on.

It was a great experience being tutored by Carina. She was very patient and gave me great tips to improve. Our lessons were structured and always entertaining!
Carina, is a very professional and lovely teacher. She is always prepared and ready to help and to teach the correct topics and subjects. She is always open for questions, and she is able to make adjustments, if the student needs a deeper look. Her classes were never boring or chaotically. I miss her lessons.
