About Abi
I want students to enjoy their literature; English Literature is a gateway into human connection and communication, I desire for students to be inspired by their texts and enjoy reading.
As an undergraduate at Durham University studying English Literature, I am aware of texts of all levels that make interesting comparison points, with previous GCSE tutorage that has successfully boosted candidates into their desired bands.

I can tutor both GCSE and A-Level ages, specialising in GCSE education.
Each student has their own interests and struggles; I set a specific lesson plan dependent on what you desire to cover and improve upon, ensuring full understanding and objectives are met before advancing.
I specialise in guiding students to engage in critical analysis and thematic consideration, encouraging interpretations that push candidates into higher bands of marking.
Homework is set and marked according to the specification board.
