About Sophie
I have tutored my brother and cousin for their GCSE English exams. My cousin achieved an A grade and my brother is predicted a B. I would love the opportunity to gain more experience as I am passionate about literature and studying it at degree level has made me keen to share that passion.

I am an undergraduate English Literature student at a Russell Group university. I can teach skills such as comparative reading, poetry analysis and creative writing to school children at all levels.
I teach transferable skills, such as essay writing techniques and both analytical and contextual understanding of texts.
My methods include using flash cards to learn quotations, creating mind maps for key themes from the text and bullet-point essay plans.
