About Chloe
Hi grown ups, little ones and teenagers!! My name is Chloe :)
I am 20 years old, live in bournemouth/BH9 area and would love a career involving children when i'm older - whether that'll be psychology or teaching (i am struggling to choose between them as of right now.) I currently work in a SEN primary school, working one to one with a lot of children, helping them to achieve their academic capabilities. I teach in a way that is gentle, simple and without any pressure to immediately understand what i have taught, meaning that if we need to go over the same thing for multiple sessions because your child hasn’t quite yet grasped it, then that is completely okay!!

There is never a ‘one size fits all’ for learning as each person interprets and understands English differently. If i asked you to think about what the colour red represents, you may think of something like ‘love’ whereas another person may think of ‘anger and violence’. This can make English seem so daunting because there is no yes or no, right or wrong answer so it can be hard to know if you’ve answered the questions correctly. both ‘love’ and ‘violence’ have opposite connotations but both are felt through the colour red which can make things really confusing! Through my tutoring sessions, i will go at your child’s pace, providing both guidance and structure on how to approach each question. I aim to build your child’s confidence and attitude towards the subject, hopefully reducing any anxieties that they may be feeling. Sometimes teachers can overcomplicate English to a point where it feels almost impossible to understand. My approach is to break it down into simple steps so that English is made easy! :)
