About Leah
I have a degree in Primary Education and have previously taught over 60 children at a primary level, including both Year 2 and Year 6 in preparation for their SATS. I have wanted to be a private tutor for a while now; not only do I wish to challenge gifted and talented individuals, but also scaffold those who feel they need support or a different approach to learning.

My teaching methods centre around kinaesthetic learning - using a combination of both theory based teaching to model and then practical activities to demonstrate and test what has been taught. I like to make every lesson as fun as possible as we all retain information much better when we have enjoyed the learning process.

Details
I have a cancellation policy in that if a student needs to cancel they must give me 24 hours notice; failure to do so will mean they need to pay a fixed charge of £5 (this will differ dependent on how long the scheduled lesson was meant to last)
If I am required to travel more than 15 miles from my home I will add a fuel charge to my original rate.
