English, Philosophy and Business Graduate offering tuition in Inverness and surrounding areas
Methodology
I discuss texts or subjects with students in a manner that they will find interesting; finding their connection to a subject and making it relevant to them. I enjoy breaking down problems with them and watching them solve it with hints and tips. I give clear structure and show them how to make themselves understood for exam purposes, but more importantly ensure they understand how to approach and break down topics and texts.
Experience
I have a Masters degree in English and Philosophy and a Postgraduate Masters degree in Business.
I have tutored to high school students both on a permanent and run-up-to-exams basis, and additionally university students seeking additional support.
I have worked with students who have additional support needs and dyslexia.
I enjoy tutoring and find it thoroughly rewarding seeing students understanding, developing and enjoying subjects which previously they found difficult or daunting.
