About Tatiana
I am a first year student at Coventry University, currently working to become an English teacher/professor. I have been tutoring people aged 9-18 for the past three years, most of which were interested in achieving higher grades in school or preparing to get their certification, such as Cambridge or IELTS.
All of the people I have tutored managed to improve their language skills, which helped them achieve their preferred goals: the younger people I have tutored became more interested in studying English on their own, and all those finishing high-school were able to get B2 for the English section of the Baccalaureate, some even getting C1 in the Cambridge exam.

As I have mostly tutored young people, I try to include more interesting approaches, such as videos or free talks from time to time, to ensure I can keep their interest.
For the first lesson, I try to have a simple conversation with the student, to make an idea about their comfort level with speaking English, and then we discuss their expectations for the tutoring sessions and the goals they wish to achieve.Then, according to each student's goals, I designs my lessons in 3 parts, some of which may vary depending on the length of the session:
Reading/writing: choosing a text we read and discuss together, after which we apply questions about the text. (This also
Grammar: basic exercises, with topics mostly related to the text, meant to help the student understand the rules of the English language
Listening/speaking: choosing an audio/video which the student must understand and then answer (orally) to questions and discussions based on it, after which he/she will be asked to form an opinion on the topic (with well developed arguments)
