About Lucy
When I was younger I was often scared to ask for help and did not feel listened to in ordinary classroom settings. I want to teach in order to inspire confidence and a love for learning which I now possess.
I study English at university as I am enthralled by the power of words to mediate the world around us in an attempt to make sense of it. Not only that, but literature has the ability to bring immense enjoyment and I hope to convey that through my teaching aswell.
Exams can be extremely daunting, but I hope to make the work load easier for you and that we can have some fun whilst doing this.

I am happy to help with exam preparation and coursework whilst also offering my own literature recommendations in order to develop reading and writing skills. I hope to inspire a love of literature whether, poetry, plays, or novels, in and outside the classroom.
