About Yesica
I am a senior at LMU, a university in Los Angeles, California. To access I had to demonstrate my level of English on the SAT and TOEFL exams. I have experience teaching English classes to children between 4 and 15 years old.

My teaching method is based on understanding the student and using the subjects that interest them to learn English. The structure of a normal class will depend on the level and the individual objectives, but for example, watching a video at the beginning of class, learning the vocabulary and grammar related to that video and then trying to get the person to summarize or express their thoughts, either in spoken or written form is an effective way of working. As I studied primary, ESO and baccalaureate in Spain, I understand what the school objectives are and could serve as support to do homework or reinforce knowledge. Personally I consider myself an outgoing person and I love sports.
