About Tim
I provided English language teaching for adults (Cambridge CELTA qualified) for individuals and classes briefly before a stroke ended my career for a period. Once recovered, I also achieved a Masters in Linguistics. I had plans to relocate to France with firm offers of English teaching positions when the stroke intervened.

Basic method of imparting knowledge of English is to present an aspect and then test for comprehension and retention. The learner must be able to form constructions properly and regularly before that lesson would be complete. I always try to make the learner feel confident about the lesson learned before moving onto another aspect. Quality is far more useful than quantity in language learning.
