About Rodrigo
My fluency and experience with the English language begins with my multidisciplinary training in Design, Education and Behavioral Therapy.
I lived in the US from 2005 to the present day, where I now divide my time teaching English face-to-face in Brazil and pursuing my career abroad. I'm a graphic design professional here in Brazil and also graduated with honors in Graphic Design and Visual Media in the US in 2018. I've worked with clients of all ages and physical and intellectual difficulty spectrums, as well as teaching beginner to advanced levels, with face-to-face and online classes here in Brazil. I am also an avid student of new languages, where I am currently learning Japanese.
My experience and immersion in American culture translates easily and visibly into my teaching style.

Learning another language is much more than learning vocabulary and memorizing grammar. It is a skill that involves all the senses of the human body, where communication takes place in a wide range of feelings, knowledge and familiarization. Cultural immersion is of utmost importance, as is the ability to understand the language without having to translate every sentence or idea.
My methodology is presented in a dynamic and relaxed way, and together with my extensive experience abroad, I bring more than fluency to learning, but a bilingual identity where comfort and efficient communication will be the pillars to be conquered.
