About Natalie
My name is Natalie and I am a qualified Educator with more than 9 years of experience teaching online and offline.
My love of teaching – and expressing that love to my learners – has been a constant in my career. Not only am I passionate about the content I teach, but the actual process of teaching, whether it be online or face-to-face.
I believe that teaching is symbiotic in nature – the Educator learns from the student as much as the student learns from the educator.
My ultimate goal as an Educator is to use my skills, passion and spirited nature to create an environment in which learning is something to celebrate :)

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English Language & Literature from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) for Senior Phase and FET Teaching from UCT, specializing in teaching English to students of all ages and levels.
Finally, I hold a Qualification Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the TEFL Academy.
I am a skilled educator because I am knowledgeable, hard-working, compassionate and dedicated to the beautiful art of teaching.
I have always believed that if educators take the time to truly know their students, they will gain greater insight into their students' needs, behaviors and personalities.
When this happens, the Educator becomes a mentor and confidante as well.
This is what I have done - and will continue to do so - for the rest of my teaching career.
