About David

I enjoy teaching English because I am passionate about the language and seeing students progress. I have been an enthusiastic reader from a young age and this has naturally developed into a lifelong passion for literature, writing and language acquisition.

Additionally, I love the fact that teaching English puts me in contact with people from so many different cultures. I have been fortunate to travel frequently in my life (India, Eastern Europe, Spain, Italy and many other places). This experience has allowed me to develop the communication skills necessary to help my students thrive.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on conversation practice, situational preparation (interviews, applications, CV, academic English) and just generally getting you comfortable speaking English :)

To achieve the above, my goal is always to create a learning environment that is supportive and relaxed yet sufficiently structured to allow you to achieve your learning goals. My personal philosophy is that learning should never feel like a chore, so I like to get students talking in English about subjects that interest them.

I have experience teaching English in different contexts and situations, such as in India at a rural volunteer school! Lessons are for all levels and typically 30 minutes but can be extended to 1 hour.
