About Larissa
I am a psychologist, I work in a private practice serving children and adolescents with learning difficulties. Besides, I've been an English teacher for 12 years. I lived in the USA all my childhood until part of my adolescence. When I returned to Brazil, my fluency in English stimulated colleagues to seek me for tutoring and I saw it as an opportunity to continue as a profession. I taught in franchise networks of language schools. I am currently tutoring individual or group in person or online.

My classes are based on conversation, from students from the basic level to the most advanced. I believe that from the speech and constant listening of the language, we are able to truly immerse ourselves in a new world of words and phrases that are unknown to us. Grammar is essential, of course, but we can only really understand it from speech, when we are already able to distinguish sounds and phonemes from the language.
