About Déborah
Hello =) I am an English teacher in a center, I am looking to complete my hours during the summer.
After my Bachelor's degree in Applied Languages in Rouen, which already gave me an excellent level of English, I went on to live for 8 years in the United Kingdom (London then Liverpool).
I graduated with a Masters in Performing Arts from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
There, I was an Au Pair, Nanny and a private teacher. I'm used to teach, especially to children and teenagers, but I can teach all ages and all levels! I want my classes to be a space where the student feels confident to ask questions and also make mistakes, because it's never a big deal to make mistakes =)
I am currently a teacher in a center, I have students of all ages, very young, 7-8 years old, adults, and I am looking for additional hours during the summer.
If there are specific methods or particular needs for the student (for example if they prefer that the lessons be printed on colored paper to facilitate reading) there is no problem. I prefer to be asked and to try to accomodate rather than not knowing something that can help.

Hi! I'm a young teacher, I've graduated with a Languages degree (University of Rouen) and MA in Performing Arts (Liverpool). I offer English lessons at all levels. I've lived 8 years in the UK and have an excellent knowledge of both everyday and academic English.
My experience as an Au Pair, Nanny and private teacher gives me a very good pedagogy, especially with children and teenagers.
I like to give practical explanations with the lessons, so that the student can understand why one applies a particular grammar rule rather than another. Understanding something at your own pace is much more important than reciting it with understanding it. Through my education and experience, I know that sometimes what we are taught in books differs from everyday spoken English, and I offer both versions. My classes are a place of exchange and the student can progress at their own pace, without being afraid to ask questions, or to make mistakes, quite the contrary! I regularly use extracts from series/films as a support, to offer concrete and playful situations that allow my students to train their ear for different English accents.
I am currently an English trainer in a formation center, I am looking to complete my hours during the summer.
