About Charlotte
I qualified in 2014, before teaching for 5 years in Dorset. From there I moved into middle leadership in an Outstanding school in Somerset, where I oversaw curriculum development for KS3. In 2022 my son was born and I sought a way to balance my passion for education and my family commitments by starting tutoring. I love English and care about outstanding teaching; and I hope that when we meet you’ll find my teaching style friendly, accommodating and aspirational, as we seek to get the best outcomes possible at whatever level you are.

Having worked in both state and private education I‘ve been fortunate to teach students of all ages, abilities and levels. From intensive GCSE exam prep for students striving for a 5, to holistic discussions of literature to enhance the depth of students’ literary knowledge ahead of university applications, I understand that all students needs and desires are different.
