About Sylvia
I have always had a passion and a great inspiration for building new friendships and relationships, helping and connecting others.
An American citizen, having grown up in the country of Jordan, I have had plenty of opportunities to interact with people from around the world with different nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
This, in turn, has given me the advantage to relate and gain a deeper understanding of connecting with my students from different ethnicities worldwide.
I love to help make a difference in the world; in my free time, I constantly work in animal shelters and volunteering programs to help make the world a better place.
I also enjoy reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with friends and loved ones, and going on walks in nature. I love to laugh and enjoy life to the fullest :)

I have a Master's degree in Human Services and have had over six years of teaching experience as an English teacher both online and in private school settings both in the US and overseas.
I have been an ESL (English as a Secondary Language) teacher and homeroom teacher and have taught students online from around the world. I have assisted with speaking, grammar, writing, and reading.
I am passionate and excited to help you reach your goals!
What sets me apart is ensuring my students are comfortable with me and, most importantly, have fun while learning!
