About David
I have mostly been teaching in Nanjing, China at one of the best High Schools in the country - Nanjing Foreign Language school. I have experience teaching all ages and all levels of student, and even have taught English teachers in Korea! I can speak Mandarin Chinese, although I don't do this while teaching English ;-) I was also an IELTS examiner, and so know every little detail of the test, and what examiners are looking for in speaking and writing.

I am a very friendly and understanding teacher. I know English is not easy for most non-native speakers, and so my lessons are well organised and have a clear aim, focusing on the main areas in which the student can improve. After each class I will provide feedback, and give suggestions on how the student can improve before the next lesson. If it is a speaking lesson, I usually record the class on my computer and give this to the student so he/she can listen again to the comments that I make.
