About Anna
I have a degree in linguistics and literature and have been giving professional private lessons, tutoring and language coaching at home and abroad for over 10 years. My lessons are very flexible and I am therefore not restricted to a particular school type or class level. My students included elementary school students, as well as high school graduates and adults who wanted to refresh and expand their knowledge alongside their jobs. From grades 1 to 13, in all types of schools you are at the right address with me. In addition to my freelance work in Hagen since 2008, I have been giving private tutoring, the Hagen Learning Refuge, tutoring in group and private lessons. It gives me particular pleasure to work with so many different students of all school types and ages and to show them that a subject can be fun, even if school lessons sometimes "obscure" it. A cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary approach is particularly important to me.

It is particularly important to me to work in a structured and regular manner so that my students come to class with a good feeling. I also attach particular importance to responding individually to each student, their needs and interests. With tutoring students, it is important to me to take up the school lessons, to supplement them and to take the pressure off the language classes - therefore, interest-based vocabulary building is just as much part of my work as oral communication, listening comprehension and examples from my student's everyday life. Furthermore, I try to relieve everyday school life by good preparation and follow-up of the teaching material in my lessons. This includes discussing textbooks and worksheets worked on at school, as well as checking and, if necessary, working together on homework.

Anna ist eine sehr kompetent und liebe Nachhilfelehrerin! Sie bereitet sich auf jeden Unterricht vor, was sehr hilfreich ist, und kann so auf bestimmt Fragen und Aufgabenstellung gut eingehen. Durch ihre verständlichen Erklärungen und ihrer Geduld, kann man ihr super folgen!
Ich habe Anna während unseres gemeinsamen Gesangsstudiums in Maastricht kennen- und schätzen gelernt und selbst in Maastricht teilweise miterlebt wie sie ihren Schülern zu jeder Zeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand.
Anna ist dabei nicht nur durch ihre schier endlose Energie jemand ganz besonderes, sondern auch durch ihre motivierende, geduldige und zugleich ausdauernde Art.
