About Sophia
I’m Sophie, I’m an American student teaching out of Wales. I’ve lived in the UK most of my life. (Though I don’t sound like it!) I want to start tutoring so I can begin the path to becoming a GCSE teacher. I feel the experience teaching students 1-1 will be crucial for helping students on a classroom level. I also feel that getting to know my students helps as well to get a feel for who they are going into the classroom. Their hobbies and interests. In order to try and relate to the students, and make tutoring feel less like a chore. And more like something they can look forward to.

Hello! I’m Sophia, my goal is to help teach GCSE Students who may need extra assistance out of the classroom. I want to make sure students are able to pass and go above and beyond in their exams and mocks. I plan to achieve this by having a flexible, accommodating lesson plan. I plan to achieve this by asking students directly what they think they're struggling with, and working together to assist their studies. Getting to the root of the issue while also speaking with them on a 1-1 level to avoid feeling alienated. I want my students to feel comfortable while also getting their work done. I want my teaching to guarantee success.
