About Laura
I am a professional violinist, based in the Netherlands, passionate about my work as a teacher and as a performer. I have a degree in Classical Violin and two master's degrees in violin, from Katarina Gurska (Madrid, Spain) and the Prince Claus Conservatory (Groningen, Holland). Throughout my entire education I have always taken courses dedicated to teaching music and the violin and with specific approaches for different age groups.
I have 10 years of experience giving private lessons to different ages and levels and several years of internship teaching during my studies.

I love meeting new students and helping them on their journey with the instrument. Each individual has different needs and goals, and as a teacher, I work hand-in-hand with each student, providing them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to reach their goals.
Making music and learning how to do it should always be an enjoyable process. Fortunately, when you like music and have a supportive and experienced teacher who helps you and gives you the tools you need at all times, it is possible to learn and make music in a fun and enjoyable way.

Searching for the internet for a violin teacher i ran into Laura. After lesson 1 i felt....yesssss....she is the one i was looking for. Laura is a great teacher. She sees exactly what needs attention. And she also knows how to teach her students. If it doesn't go all at once, than she will teach you in small steps. Where i thought 'this is too difficult' turns out that it is possible thanks to Laura. Laura is very present and precise. And above all...very real. She really wants to help you. I feel the love in her teaching and that makes me always enjoy going to the violin lesson.
