About Jess
I am currently an Enrolled Agent with the IRS and have worked in public accounting for 9 years. My accounting and tax knowledge that I have developed in my 9 years has taught me many useful things. I am currently working on my Masters in Taxation as well as sitting for my CPA exams. My goal is to teach at a community college part time, once I have finished my Masters, and continue to work in public accounting.

The approach I take is centered around you and what is best for your learning. Each of my sessions first start with a "what you know vs. what you need to know" session so I can better understand where you are at. My lessons are centered around goals you want to achieve and specific lesson matters that are beneficial for you.
My 9 years of public accounting and tax allows me to have an advantage to effectively tutor and teach my students the curriculum they need assistance in. We will not only discuss theory, but we will dive into application. Once a student has mastered application, the theory will come naturally to them, rather than memorizing the subject, they will be able to implement it.
