About Aimee
I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher.
I started to play the piano at the age of 11 after begging my parents for lessons! Since then I have continued my excitement and love of music.
I am an able pianist, to grade 8 standard with a first class honours degree in music.
I work in a school and so have a variety of teaching techniques, experience working with special needs students and pupils of all abilities.
I am DBS checked. I also am double vaccinated and take weekly covid tests.

About the lesson

Each lesson will consist of setting targets, sight reading, scales and technical exercises and learning a range pieces. Students can work towards ABRSM exams if they wish to.
Students can choose the music that they would like to learn.
Setting short attainable targets allows us to work together, improve as a pianist and enjoy the process of learning to make music.
It is my goal to foster a lifelong love of music in my students so that it can be a gift to them throughout their lives.
