About Alfred
I am a male (28) high achieving MSc particle physics graduate living in Hove. Although I have always had a strong passion for learning mathematics and physics, I still found the process hard throughout my education. So, you'll get no judgements from me, as I know that these are challenging but rewarding topics.
It is because I find these topics are so rewarding that I wish to help others achieve their goals in these subjects, and in the process share my passion with enthusiasm that hopefully makes the learning process more enjoyable.
I am reliable and punctual, but also flexible so as to best tailor my service to the students' needs.
I great pride in having a very friendly, empathetic, and approachable personality. These traits serve me well in getting to know students, and for them to get to know me.
I look forward to helping students achieve their best possible result, in any way that I can!

I teach A-level maths and physics (16+).
My approach is flexible depending on the educational needs of the student. In general, I look for ways to introduce complex/abstract concepts that are intuitive and accessible to the student.
I will use the first session to understand what the student hopes to gain from the sessions, and then plan the lessons and problem sets around achieving those goals.
Typical session lasts 45-60 minutes.
I have had successes in both tutoring a student one to one and helping students in math workshops, preparing them for university interviews. (CV is available on requests or more details).
