About Jonathan
I am an enthusiastic and motivational teacher trained in modern/contemporary singing and classical singing at the University of Southampton and the Regional Music Conservatoire of Rennes, France.
With 5 years of teaching experience, I also have extensive stage experience and audition/examination experience.
I love taking the time to understand each student and work in a way that will work for them!
I hold an enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind.

My lessons are centred around the student, their technique and personality. I am attentive to the student's aims and preferences, whether preparing for an audition or simply taking on singing as a hobby.
I am happy to work with complete beginners learning the fundamentals of singing, but also with more advanced students refining technique and interpretation skills.
My dual training in both pop and classical singing allows me to offer lessons in both styles, each with its own unique technique and repertoire.
The first lesson is free to allow you to decide for yourself whether my lessons are for you! We will take time to go through your aims and expectancies.

I am very comfortable working with both children and adults.
I recommend hour-long lessons as they allow for time to warm up, and work on exercises and repertoire.
